Hark! Is this a new Print for 2014?
I had this idea sitting in my sketch book for over a year now. It feels good to have this inked and colored. I have realized that I just CAN'T do a muted pallet… more do I want to. Color is a powerful thing when done right.
I love the gender swapped charters of Adventure time and I totally ship Marshall Lee and Fionna.

I know I said it before, but still can't get over how awesome this turned out. Sooo colorful, love all the effects...reflections, soft glow of the lanterns etc. Not to mention the composition really makes your eyes want to keep moving around the whole image. It's hard to look away.

D'awwwwwww thanks so much lady. That is super sweet of you to say. I really did put a lot of work into this pice from the rough sketch right down into the nitty gritty of the reflections of the water. I'm becoming more and more comfortable with doing art with different sources of light. Color and lighting have been a huge theme for me this year (2014) I only hope to continue to improve my understanding of color theory.
