Description
The Anthaesian Paladins are powerful individuals, like knights who are entrusted a region of land to govern, Paladins are tasked with similar responsibilities but they also have the duty of maintaining the Holy Order: the church, the only power that can challenge the king and keep his order in check. All citizens of the nation who have declared themselves a believer and registered as members of the church are part of the Holy Order and the Paladins are the representatives of the will of these people.

Paladins have high political value both outside and inside Anthaesia, attacking them would mean making an enemy of the church which is found in almost every settlement in the world. Paladins are not necessarily trained for battle, most Paladins have never drawn their sword from their scabbard because fighting was already covered by the Knights and their armies.
There were several Paladins who were active in the battlefield like Kalsufer who is responsible for the Holy Order in the capital city Arkandesh.
