The Genesis, known as the Mega Drive in anywhere else other than the USA, is a 16-bit console released by SEGA. It is famous for its "Blast Processing", which means a higher processing speed than its rival, the Nintendo Entertainment System. The marketing for the Genesis is known for its constant taunts at Nintendo. The Genesis is also known for the debut of Sonic The Hedgehog, SEGA's famous mascot. Many addons were released for the console, which I will cover later.
