Description
Solar Flare, the son of High Queen Celestia and Element of Laughter Pinkie Pie. He's the eldest of the next gen and perhaps the most magically adept. Sol's natural abilities include the ability to manipulate the weather. He did go under a false identity ("Cotton Cloudy") to move to Ponyville to be with his mother, Pinkie. He currently lives as a news anchor/weatherman for the Cloudsdale/Ponyville area. He may walk on the clouds due to biologically being an alicorn. He had a genetic mutation/deformity that meant that his wings wouldn't erupt from his back and had to be surgically removed as a foal. He eventually starts a relationship with Ruby Pinch.
