Nero felt Pavel's gaze resting on him for a moment too long which could only mean he was about to-
"Funny how I was in a coma and I still ranked up before you."
There it was.
The liger let out a loud, unimpressed huff and rolled his eyes as visibly as possible.

"Well, I'm not a try-hard like you, Pav. I don't care about ranking up."

They both knew that was a lie. Before Ragnarok, Nero had been annoyingly determined to join the ranks of the Wardens. After Ragnarok, after his parents left along with just about all of his siblings, Nero had fallen into a daze of sorts that he had only recently inched his way out of.

"Have you been sniffing flowers all day?"

Nero smirked ever so slightly.

"Not all day. I save some time for a bit of frolicking and lollygagging, too."

This was a collab between Howlz and I! I sketched, shaded, and did background. He lined and colored!

This will also be Nero's Sentry Duty assignment. It seems he's finally getting up and working on some homework!
