** Original Comments **
Yes, I'm trying for a realistic painting, lol. Key word: trying, lmao. These are just the base colors and I'll be working to blend them as I work.
Now, if I can just make my tablet behave, maybe I can finish this in my lifetime, lol. I'm hoping that updating the drivers is all it needed. I'm running Windows XP 64bit now and the website for my tablet doesn't list any 64bit drivers.
*** Update #1 ***
I added a little more to the base colors and blended them a little bit more. I also added some shadows and highlights of details to the eye area and the muzzle.
*** Update #2 ***
Ok, I started on a little more depth to the cheek and muzzle. I also started some of the shadows cast by the bridle.
*** Update #3 ***
I added more of the BASE colors for the rest of the neck, I still might tweak some around. Expanded on a little more of the fur texture at the top of the neck. And started work on the bridle details. I like how the leather looks, but I think I still need to work on the metal parts, lol.
*** Update #4 ***
Now, I've completed the details to the bridle. I think I got the metal parts right now. I still need to start on the reins. I started with the mane and forelock. I'm not sure if I'm satisfied with them yet, lol.
Anyway, still a ways to go before I'm done and I haven't even thought about what I should do for a background, lol.
*** Update #5 ***
I finished a lot of the details. I changed the background color. I'm still trying to sketch out a proper background, but they aren't satisfying me, lol.

Hehe, the second expansion just came out a matter of days ago, lol. There are Death Knights everywhere, lmao.

One of my friends who plays it all the time mentioned that. He was impressed by a bone griffin one of the death knights used as a mount.

Yeah, I think the bone griffin is the Death Knight-only flying mount. I know that the DKs get their own special mount for land travel and that looks like an evil skeleton horse. I still want to see Blizzard come out with a Warlock-only flying mount that looks like a flaming bone griffin or a flaming bone dragon, lol.

Yep, they don't sound like paladin's mounts, do they?

lol, yeah, quite the opposite, lol. I remember a long, long time ago when the Warlocks did not have the special "epic" mount. So, it was really exciting to see the new content, so I'm just dreaming that they add more unique mounts,

It would be cool if players could design their own, within game boundaries.

Yes, that would be AMAZING!!! I still wish Blizzard would add in a feature to dye our clothes and armor, . We did get a Barber Shop in this new expansion, so we are no longer stuck with the one hair style in the beginning, and they even added new hair styles to the Barber that you can't get in the character creation screen.

Having a barber shop sounds good! But yes, being able to customize things like armor and clothing would be really neat.

I'm not completely sure if I understand. I know that I still have a lot of work left and I'll be adding more details as I go. Kinda like how your progress art looks like a bunch of smudges until the details begin to take shape.

first get in the color, try to make all your painting at start, so u can see how colors get in place, then go in and add some shades on that collor and then details...and so on... but do it with all the painting...do not get stuck in one zone, u may lo9se interest and concetration till u get to the last zones. doing all from big to small keeps the same grade of detail and stile throw the hole painting. gives it a more uniform aspect and more clean.
this is my opinion...u do how u like and how u think its better for u. this is how i got used and its the way i got the best things done. it's my way u have to find yours
