Ah yes the goal of every artist is to improve!

After flipping threw some old drawings and comics (XD omg the findings!) I found the 2 gems to the left. The one to the far left I vaguely remember drawing to be a fan character from show Daria. “Omg but you usually hate fan characters and here you made one! lolomgbbq" only if their SO OBVIOSOULY derived from an existing character you tard. but this one was an original creation even when I 9 I still strived for originality in my characters. however I don't remember anything about her except that she was made for Daria and obsessed with aliens. she has no name so feel free to call her what ya like. but then again in 2002 ( I THINK) Josh who runs the Gorillaz fan site held a contest to draw himself however while entering THAT contest I found the first picture and decided to re-draw it just because I couldn’t stand looking at the first one. even now it makes me wanna barf. and now nearly 4 years later I found it again and figured "what the hell?" lets re-draw it to check the progress and let’s just say i'm happy with the results and thank god for evolution.

however I have to thank my friends for my improvements. they are my teachers weather they realize it or not. weather its me simply liking how they draw a hand or a leg or giving my art books (thank you ~Denzai ) or even if its them beating how to shade into my head, they have helped me ever since I realized I have potentional for greatness (and I won't lie to myself the potential is there but iv got a looong way to go) to my more talented art friends thanks for being someone to admire and to strive to become and to my less talented but still awesome art friends thanks for helping me strive to be someone worth looking up too ( if that made ANY sense)

but GOD look at her BUTT in the first one! it’s like all high on her spine and her boobs! even the PAPER on the first one is crappy looks like someone used it to blow their nose or something. DX URG! oh the second ones not much better. her waist is all wide on the bottom of the shirt and her legs look like 2 x 4's but there’s one thing that’s stayed the same all those years…I STILL can’t draw high heels…but yea what else can I say? except i’m so grateful iv improved over the years and who knows where ill be in another 5 years. if i’m alive and mentally coherent I think ill give this girl another draw.
