Support the cause i drew this out of sheer annoyance with the news and the catholic church.
as you can see them two are Doodle and AJ. two characters from my story.
I'm sure most people in the usa and France and where ever else this news has travels are aware of the injustice that's going on. my government is trying to ban gay marriage. thats sad. they say "the sanctity of marriage is at stake!" um news flash! the sanctity of marriage has already been destroyed considering the fact that the divorce rate in the usa is sky rocketing...and the fact that hardly no one waits til their married to have sex... so that proves that the sanctity has already been destroyed...id go on some more but i don't want to sound like a hippy weirdo.
anywho. i support the right to marry whomever you want no matter what their gender. love is love.
support the cause people! fav!
also... any devowd christains or bush supporters...dont even waste yer time in telling me gayness is "disgusting and wrong" because no where in the bible does it say that..gods only real beef with gays is the whole pre marital sex thing and that rule goes fer EVERYONE... and any comment you can throw at me i'll have an answer for.
p.s. i hope i dont offend anyone with the protest posters i sware on all that is holy thoughs are real signs from real protesters.

Luckily gay rights have improved A GREAT DEAL since this art work was made! 2 months later the first US state legalized same sex marriage. and since then it has been legalized in 17 states of the USA - (California , Connecticut , Delaware , Hawaii , Illinois , Iowa , Maine , Maryland , Massachusetts , Minnesota , New Hampshire , New Jersey , New Mexico , New York , Rhode Island , Vermont , and Washington ) That is a lot of progress in just 10 years.
so all hope is not lost! Progress is happening! Just slowly.

I live in Germany and here homosexuals can't marry but live in aΒ Β registered partnership.. (damn it politicans just let the people marry Γ²nΓ³..)

I don't see why marrying someone of the same gender is such a big deal. And how are we in, "The Land Of The Free," if we can't even pick who we get to love?
It might just be me, but I think Bush is turning into the American version of Hitler. Somehow, he can persuade so many people into doing his dirty work. And people who say, "I hate Bush," are already considered anti American. He's just gone off the deep end.
The whole war in Iraq thing too.. but that's another story. Yeah. But you see, I'm not for gay marriage. I'm not for any marriage. Why should we have some guy tell us if we can be together or not? Why not just be together? I may not be for gay marriage, but I am definately for gay lovers. I'm for any kind of love, as long as it's true love.

a few years before i dropped out of highschool there was a big fit over people wearing the color red because it's a 'gang' color. so to dispute the stupidness of it, alot of people wore red. and the staff of the school durring announcements that morning said 'anyone wearing the color red today is a queer' his exact words....the principal of the school saying that like it was a horrible thing. also the commercial with the young man who was beaten to death for being gay used to show durring school morning tv time..people would cheer for it..*shakes head* i have very anti-gay parents..and a mother who cheers on Mr. Bush as if he's a god. i've also been disowned for being bi. i think homophobic people are repulsive...why hate when you can love? it's horrible to think that no one sees the big deal about Mr. Bush's comments about gay people and how it's so sinful. imagine a gay couple in love wanting to be married and flipping through the tv channels and hearing that their relationship is evil and that if one dies they'll go to hell. or in that respect a gay/bi person who'se lost a partner in their lifetime..thinking there in hell. anyway, didn't mean to write so much.

the problem with the government is that they are posing as a democracy but they in fact are a communism. They tell you how to dress, how act, we really don't vote for the president, the government does, and now they are basically try to tell you who to love. Love is love-if you look in the dictionary,or anywhere for that matter, nowhere does it say it has to be between a man and a woman. More like damning you, not directly arresting you, but what people are doing now is putting up American flags everywhere. If your house doesn't wear an American Flag....your not American, and this day in age, if you're not American, we're gonna bomb you and damn you to hell. If you don't dress like the "all-American teenage slut" your not American.....hell it's even going back to racial cultures. You didn't grow up in an anti-Irish neighborhood , so you don't know how bad it is to be in a school with all Polish kids (not all Polish kids...just the ones I grew up with), who have been taught by their racist-fuck parents that anyone from Ireland is Un-American.
And actually people are arrested for being different. Depending on which racial group they decide to pick on that day. If you have different religious beliefs, you're a cult leader, if you hate your school and someone in it , you're gonna blow it up....that kind of stupid shit people assume about everyone.
