Description
When I have a art block, feel down or lack drawing drive. Drawing Ninja Turtles is the go-to for me. Something about them that's both easy and intricate to draw.
Their anatomy and proportions fascinates me, and how as an artist work around that they have a shell around their torso, kinda forcing you to think 3 dimensional when sketching them.Daredevil meeting the Turtles is a crossover I'd love to read. Now that we'd gotten a DC collaboration with Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles six-issue series, maybe a Marvel team-up in the near future.

Mikey vs. Daredevil - how appropriate! I love how you show how Mikey can move, he's been acknowledged by the creators as the most athletic of the brothers.

Thanks I really wanted to make each panel unique and dynamic, so I thought it was fitting of Mikey being nimble in the fight.

A crossover between the two would be appropriate since Daredevil was the inspiration for the turtles. I'd love their origin to be officially tied to Daredevil's, like it unofficially is.

Yeah, it would have been pretty great, sadly if such a crossover would happen it would probably be with the IDW Turtles that don't share the Daredevil origin. :/
I doubt the Mirage Turtles will appear in anything new unless Laird suddenly gets a burst of inspiration and chucks out a new issue of Vol. 4. Which won't be anytime soon seeing #32 came out in May 2014...

That makes me sad. I wasn't aware that IDW changed their origins. Though I haven't read a comic in years, so that is no surprise that I didn’t know it. How did they change it?

The IDW is a new story, so they've taken various bits from existing versions and made their own.
Basically Splinter and the Turtles are the reincarnation of a Ninja family who are lab animals in Stockman's laboratory. After a break-in by the Foot Clan to steal chemicals, the Turtles and Splinter is lost in the streets and mutate. Splinter remembers his past life and trains the Turtles in Ninjustsu.
I'm not a fan of the reincarnation angle, but the comics is really good despite that. They've also created some really cool new characters like Old Hob, who was a street cat that tried to eat Raphael when they ended in the streets, got mutated and started a criminal gang.
