This will be useful in the future, and if you do requests, I want an eye tutorial, I can't draw realistic ones for the life of me.

The best I can say is to repeatedly draw from phitographs. Keep doing it over and over until you find somethin that looks nice.Β
Also, take drawings by people you admire and try to copy what they do as close as possible. Again, do that over and over until you understand what they did.Β

Do you have any suggestions for freckles? Or dreads? Those are things I've been interested in trying but never quite know where to start with.

Unfortunately, no. I hated drawing dreads so I changed Corelle's hair.Β
And that's why I don't draw freckles, either.Β

My way is cheating. Β But I love cheats. Β Like when I do wood floors, I do the same thing. Β I also warp and bend them to match the angle and plane. Β Anything in the name of lazy!
