I love how you overcast everything with a shade of blue. 
It really makes the sadness totally striking and breathtaking. 

It reminds me of the day I got home from first grade and my mother was in the back yard, sobbing. Her father had died after a short battle with ALS.
I remember how blue the sky was. One of the only times in Washington State it wasn't raining. 

Blue. It's the color of your heart when all the warmth leaves you because you realize that your life is suddenly going to be much emptier.

Ah damn it this is so realistic/relatable.

I like how you removed the background for panel 2 and 3. It really adds the feeling of dread and numbness and pain and shock.
