Description Here's my second tutorial. It builds upon the first and delves into some Photoshop coloring. The Shading tutorial is still forthcoming, but it is vitally important to avoid putting the horse in front of the cart in this case. One can't shade without a solid base color, and one can't have a solid base color without a good underlying drawing.

Anyway, I hope this is helpful.

Oh, and two imaginary dollars for the first one who catches the Inuyasha reference.

Actually, it's the 'See ya soon!' at the end. Whenever they had the "Next time on Inuyasha" thing at the end of the eps, Kagome would always end it with "See ya soon!"

It's an interesting way of coloring. I personally use one layer for lines and colors, then one for shades, and another one for glows.

There's more to do in the Net of Nets!

Eventually I get quite a stack of layers built up as well if it's an intense drawing. I do my shading on at least a seperate layer than my base coloring, but it often ends up being a layer for most shading, a layer for eyes, a layer for highlights, etc... And if I add any textures, there's atleast another layer or two. Some of my files end up in the 200MB+ range before I flatten them. Bleh!

I am very interested in those tutorials! Even if you read one already, there is lots of new stuff you can learn from every single one.

Yours is no exception, so... Nice!!!
