Wow! thanks for all the faves and nice comments on my last Tutorial. I was a little scared I wouldnt help. &&;; Hehe.Okay....this one is pretty lame. Not as helpful. But its because the CGing lesson takes longer. The next one will be for Cleaning up your mess and a bonus on where shadows belong. The next one I am currently working on is on Shadows. Please do not rush. It'll take until Sunday maybe to submit. I'll try to submit them every other day until I finish them.

ah, well how do you get them on deviantart? the thing is always asking me for a preview and i dont know how to manually get one... do you know how?

maybe you're submitting it to the wrong place.
it usually just asks you for the file itself. be it a jpg. bmp. or gif.

when you upload it....it shows you a preview. i've never seen it ask for one, it used to but that was long ago.
i dont know how you're getting that.... i've been trying to do it myself! lol.
if anything.... submit the same item as a preview.

I had never thought of using multiply before. But, I tried it, and the lines weren't visible. Hm... I must be doing something wrong.

I see waht you mean to keep it on the same layer, because so many multiplyed layers that the colors begin to screw up. Hey very helpful thanks, can't wait till the next one.

Heheh, but in the end, things made sense so I was able to understand. I've tried coloring like this but I like using the Lasso tool more. I would color like this but Layers aren't my friends. They don't like me for some reason.

Its hard to explain. Leave the layer on Normal and then color. See what happens, then you'll know why.

Ahh, I see. Thats so handy with shading. Can be a bit annoying with out being able to overlay with my layers. I have to be neater now.

okay i have a question. my sister shut down the computer when i had photoshop up with all the layers and stuff...but i had saved the actual picture. can i still clean up the mess and stuff. im so pissed at her im about to strangle her because i spent three hours working ont hsi picture. please tell me i can still fix the mess and what not

Ooh... Unless you saved it I doubt it. ;-; Sometimes compies have an auto save, so maybe.....but other than that.....nope. It's okay that it happened. It has happened to me a couple of times. It actually made me more careful so now I save ALWAYS and ALL the time!! SHortcup button to save is "Ctrl+S" Its easier and faster and it'll save your stuff from death!!

well the picture with the color is saved but it was the layers i was worried about because it didnt show that when i checked it. o well i hope you do that second tutorial soon because that would really help me hahha.

Oh you work on the skins on the same layer for both light and dark. I make them individually.
