I use Photoshop instead of SAI, but I think I can apply the stuff here to PS. I like your coloring style, hope to apply some of the methods here to my own stuff.

You can kind of emulate the effect I do by switching on "flow" on your brush.

I usually just always hard shade for some reason, IDK I guess something is just ALWAYS BLOCKING THE LIGHT.
