Clearly inspired from: andI may have Joe wielding a Bowie knife at times, but he loves his tech for weapons. And in a bullet-hell situation, I think this would be advantageous over swords, any day.

Jack Diehard is more like Dieeasy! He went pichuun yet again! You can't survive without a ranged attack, and that makes Jack Dieeasy a bigger ⑨ than Rumia or Mystia, let alone Cirno!

Well I mean, you could, but you'd need to have the means to get in melee range. So a sword would only work if you have a power like becoming intangible or if you can flat-out just tank everything like as juggernaut.
That would still violate danmaku rules hard if you ever actually did it, though.

It's the Thundergun. In the game it's from, it releases a huge burst of air, causing anything in it's path to most likely go flying. But I can modifiy it to use danmaku as well.
