In terms of design, sure! The Squid Sisters are cool and all but they clearly are sort of a "matched set". These two are all about being polar opposites instead, and they're just kind of more interesting to look at as a result, I think.

Thanks! I'm not holding my breath on getting to actually play Splatoon 2 to be honest, but I liked the look of these two well enough. Marina ended up being a real challenge to animate though, especially with how detailed I made the base sprites.
