Description
The Andor Class Torpedo Cruiser is one of the odder designs by FASA. It's odd countainance, is attributed to it being of Andorian design. And it's most known for being of an all Andorian crew...Side note. The oddness of the design, ment I had to guess on a couple of details...So forgive any mistakes.Related content

Nice job with the Andor.Β It's one of those old FASA designs that was very unique that folks typically loved or hated and I fall in the former category.Β Note sent btw!

When my gang used to play FASA, this was my ship, the USS Selainna. My character was captain, all the NPCs were default Andorian instead of Human. T'was awesome.

Haven't for a long time. Only just recently got a gaming group back together and we've started with AD&D Al Qadim.
We're beginning to consider alternate universes, but Star Trek hasn't come up yet.

Is that why you started posting classic D&D modules, in YAFGC?

No, that was an attempt to get myself inspired. It worked!

Looks cool, and the hull configuration is significantly better than that of most fanon designs- looks like she fits in-universe, doesn't look too fragile, and doesn't look so sturdy, Starfleet must bankrupt itself to pay for the ship's construction (my main beef with ships with multiple engineering sections).

Well, being a FASA design, she was bound to look a bit on the odd side,

Andorians have such interesting designs. Would have been interesting to see this ship at Wolf 359 or against the Dominion with Quantum Torpedoes!

One of my favotite looking designs from the old game.
Myself, I never understood the need for the secondary hull under it, but FASA designed her, I didn't.

Now, I like this design more than a lot of the other ones, but there is one problem. What compensation is made for the fact that the Bussard collectors can't be seen from the front? That'd make it hard to collect deuterium

I don't design them. I just draw them...LOL

lol yeah, I know, and you do very good work with them ^_^
I just wish people paid attention to design guidelines
Oh well, rules are made to be broken, eh?

From my understanding a bussard is a magnetic net, as such, it wouldn't be interfered with by the hull in front of it.

It's just one of those Roddenberry design canons, like the nacelle pairing things. Β Most people try to hold to the rule, but it's very often broken.
