Description
The Billy Mitchell Class Super Carrier is a TMP / Refit design by me. And is based off of the TOS version by John "Marcus Starkiller" Bandow.The ship is named after General William "Billy" Mitchell, "father" of the U.S. Air Force. And as such, the hull numbers are the year when USAF became it's own branch, separate from the U.S. Army.

OK so out of a lot of Federation Carrier designs, I have to say overall I really like the design. I guess my only criticism with the design is two things. First, the nacelles. Just the two, seem out of place to me and I just don't personally feel they flow with the design. I think backing them up so that the struts are between bays 32 and 30 and then added a middle nacelle or two more near the from would make it look a bit more stable. However, technically wise I suppose its not necessary but just visually, in my opinion it would make it more appealing.
Secondly, from the frontal view, the entire rear of the ship beyond the saucer section looks...square. Is this indeed the shape of the rear section or just a bad angle visual? I feel like the rear section shouldn't be square, it should have more of a curve to it both from the top and from the bottom, to fit in line a bit better with the saucer section.
Beyond that criticism, I have to say this is the best put together carrier for starfleet that I have so far found. Its not quite there for me, but still a very visually stunning piece that I must say I do like a lot.

Ah well still, best carrier design I've seen overall. Most of the ones that I've come across before yours either look completely awkward or look so far from a traditional federation ship design that I'm surprise they can even suggest is being one lol.
I also saw your Galactic-inspired carrier and I really like that one a lot. Very well designed and actually think if I could, I'd suggest the federation look into building it
