Description
The Copernicus research ship, is a TOS Miranda Class variant. Designed by the New Voyages / Phase II design team. And can be seen in the New Voyages / Phase II Star Trek webisode "Blood and Fire" part one.[link]

Yup...Read the description. I was asked to redo some of the ship,to make it more accurate...As Star Trek: Phase II wanted to put it in an issue of their e-zine.

A pretty lady!
My TOS Miranda was massively inspired by this design. But I just can't accept that ugly top module. Mine has a normal-sized pod with a deflector assembly that matches the housing's shape.

Thinks. I really didn't have a problem with the look of the secondary hull...But I wasn't to keen on the way it conected to the primary hull.
