Description
The Leavenworth Class Frigate is an Excelsior based TMP era design, from the "expanded universe" of Star Trek.Note: Resources have it listed as both NCC-1901 and NCC-1901-B. I went without.

Β 1901-B? I always assumed that there was once a Leavenworth, and she was destroyed. And that the B was named after her.

From what I found, there was only one in this configuration, and there were sources that used one, or the other.

The Leavenworth is a good starship design with the Excelsior body. I has good defense for itself. I have a ship, theΒ USS Excel,Β that resembles this ship.Β Keep it up with your work, CaptShade.Β

Very nice, far superior to the Centaur. And has a well thought layout.

Thanks. It's supposed to have torpedo launchers on the saucer, but none of the pics I saw showed where. So I had to make a guess.

Nope...From what I found, it was made during the 24th century. I know it's splitting hairs. But if if I brake my "no 24th century ships" rule, even once, I'll get swarmed.

(Even Though It's Non-Canon) Memory Beta Says that it was actully in production since the 23rd century, Most Likely the latter half of the century, It was said to be built using Pre-made Stock Parts for the Excelsior class. Here it is: [link]

And ships were smaller in the 23rd century...I think the 24th century is compensating.
