Thank you Jonathan appreciated. Derwentwater is good, newly discovered amazing at night, all to yourself. Favourite would be Wastwater, just down the road, but on the move again next week so new areas to show on DA in not too distant future! To be fair probably been to derwentwater about 4 times in 3 and 1/2 yrs here, been lucky each time. As you know ashness bridge just down road . Where you turned off to go up the lane to ashness bridge, on main road itself lakeside is a small gap in stone wall. Step through the gap, down the steps and that's the jetty where these shots have come from. Also drive over and on from ashness bridge windy lane but about mile or so on on the left is small car park. Park there cross over the road following sign for suprise view and you are up high looking down and up derwentwater to Keswick and the fells beyond.
