Slightly different view to my last upload. As was the case with it I had to blend in a longer exposure to bring up some detail in the falls as it was so dark there. But unlike "Cascade", which was a panorama, this is just a single shot field of view.
I would love to know which one you like best out of the two.

what were your camera settings to capture this? exposure must have been under 40 seconds or the stars wouldn't be pinpoint, but then again ive never done a 40 second exposure that got that many stars, so whats the method you used to get around that? ISO? F1.8?

I think we are a bit outside the Milkyway. I watch on the constellations.

Not bad. I prefer this one since the composition seems a little more balanced.

think its obvious by now but agree with the majority that this one wins over the previous! though i love both..the perspective of the cascade has more personality and the same for the milky way..much more powerful in this take. still..both are amazing

O_O That is absolutely amazing!!
Gonna be setting my scope up now the warmer weather's here in the UK, probably won't get anything more interesting than the moon though Need a motorised mount and can't afford it yet... *sigh*

I like this one more than the first. The extra light in the sky and the waterfall stands out more. Amazing work!
