Cape Schank, Australia, 10/01/2014

This is one of the views south over Cape Schank I explored whilst on the hunt for an aurora display last week. There was some nice subtle green and red airglow around and I even managed to capture a bright meteor passing right through the head of The Emu. The Emu is a constellation in Aboriginal culture and is comprised of the dark nebulas and dust lanes against the background Milky Way, rather than stars.
