I have been wanting to shoot from this location for years and years and I was lucky enough to get permission from the landowner a few days ago. It is hard to tell from the image but I was standing on the edge of a cliff with spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Over 180 degree panorama made from 12 individual images (6 x 2 rows) showing the full Southern Hemisphere view of the Milky Way at this time of year and also featuring the Large and Small Magellanic Clouds and the Zodiacal Light. 20/09/2014

That's incredible! Great shot.
But how on earth did you capture so much light and not have the motion of the stars showing? Do you have a special camera?
