Description
Update, December 2019 - I've noticed a LOT of people Favoriting Lilly's ref sheet... My question to you ALL, is why? What do you like about Lilly above all of my other OC Characters?Update, October 2016 - Figured I stick with the simplest design possible... I haven't been in a drawing mood lately, a lot has been going on. Finally got around to really hammering out Lilly's personality, I left her backstory blank because I don't know when to place her (that's not a typo, I don't know what time period to place any of my characters in).
Well here's Lilly's reference sheet... I didn't post this because its not complete. I may scrap the original idea of drawing their occupations, likes and hobbies because that takes awhile to sketch, even digitally; and honestly I would rather draw traditionally anyway but we all know that doesn't work well with digital art much. I think I'll just stick with a couple of expression heads and add a wall of short text. No details about Lilly for now... work and school are keeping me busy.
Thanks for looking people!

I can relate to this gal in a few ways. And she has a simple and easy design to understand. ^^ Oh, and her palette is pleasing to the eye.^^ People are drawn to easier designs. Especially artists. It's more fun to draw a simple character, than a bogged-down and over-complicated character design with strong saturated colours.
It would be nice to know her species, age, maybe a few images of her face, making different expressions. But as it is now, it works just fine.

For the OC's refs that I currently have on display... the species, age, height, race, and gender are all in small text under the large bold text on the left of the ref sheet that displays their first name and surname.
I'm also revamping my OC ref sheet lineup for 2020. The personality description, sexual intents and acts, like and dislikes, as well as additional expressions might be part of a separate page; So viewers aren't overwhelmed with too much information in one shot. Do you think that's a good approach or should I try something else?

You know, I honestly did not notice that text at all! Though I was actively looking for it before I commented about that. But of course, now that it's pointed out, I can see it. That was a dumb oversight on my behalf, hope you don't think about changing it, because that's just me being a goober!
Personally, I wouldn't remove any of the biography, though I would still add either a undressed version, or a back view of her. I don't add biography on my ref images, but this feels like it ought to have biography. I don't know if you can narrow it down, or yes- move part of it to another page, or the description. I think I put mine in the description, since I dont... have a proper way to write on my art, haha... ha. So I think that should be up to you!^^
I am not good at reference art pieces. I made some for the art fight event last July. I wanted some new references of some of my characters.
I think I have one that I like, which is Djala Full Reference and the other one, which is not as good but still like it is Fuiah reference . Hm, maybe also Tjiam reference 2018 Nourkash Reference sheet As you see, I have no set way at all. So really, I should be doing the same as you, and revamp or make them more uniform. XD
I've sort of looked up to you and the way you use graphic design, so it's kind of hard for me to give much advice to you. o.o; You have a very clean aesthetic that you've grown stronger as I watched you over the years. ^^

... I might change the size so that it's easier to read without squinting your eyes, although I had no plans on changing it's location. If you think about it... the text is actually facing in the same direction the movie titles on the spine of DVD cases are facing (borrowed that feature). I'll eventually add undressed versions on my other OC's, my Main's will have an undress section (Zeal & Cera) on the right side of the page. A single page background story is being worked on via a Writer I've recently hired. The Background Story and Personality Description will have their own page. In hindsight, I probably won't do additional expressions; that's a lot of extra work that I'm not interested in doing... although now I'm having second thoughts about it. I don't know what to do... XD
I see what you mean, you should invest some time to create a standard ref sheet profile for yourself, it'll help smoothen out the work flow for your other OC's if you decide to create their ref sheets.
Thank you, I'm glad to be a good role model and appreciate the kind words; that means a lot to me!

Alright, I'll change the size so that it's easier to see and read. LOL, you can read just fine; you're not the first who's told me they missed it.

She's a pretty lady and like her outfit almost feels tribal or native in a way.
