This is from February 2001. It shows Tails using the Chaos Emeralds to become Super Tails (with Super flicky birds, as he appeared in Sonic 3 and Knuckles) and battling the Tails Doll (from Sonic R).Trivia: Someone once wrote a letter to the Archie Sonic comic asking if Tails had a super form. The reply was something along the lines of "If he does, we have yet to see it." This was one of the most uninformed replies ever. Not only were they apparently not aware of Super Tails from the games, but they somehow forgot about Turbo Tails, the super form that Tails has in the comic.
This was done with a mix of pen, colored pencils, and (probably) Adobe PhotoDeluxe. I'm still pretty fond of this piece. The hands are boneless and some shapes are imperfect, but I like the concept, design, and colors.

This is exactly what I want, a REAL battle between (Super) Tails and Tails Doll. The battle should start with Tails losing to Tails Doll but quickly transforming a get the upper hand, then Tails Doll reveals his transformation and the final battle becomes ultra intense!

I wonder if Tails does have a Super form. In Sonic Heroes he goes either Super or Hyper.. But I'm not sure. Very cool pciture!!

Ya know its really depicted in the Archie comics as Turbo Tails and looks different then the beta Sonic 3 Super Tails.It has a a red cape in the comics.
