After 20 years of travel at 80% lightspeed, the antimatter-powered Valkyrie spacecraft finally arrives at its destination, a habitable exomoon orbiting Gliese 876-b. The droplet shield located at the front of the main engine has been deactivated, the twin deceleration engines have been burning for weeks, the radiators are glowing red hot. Soon the first human crew will be able to safely breathe the atmosphere of an alien world.

This digital painting was done after a lot of trial and error and practicing textures, in about 16 hours, it was amazingly fun to make! The ship is inspired by avatar's venture star and pellegrino's Valkyrie
