One thing I've learned about myself: if I say I will (or might) finish something soon, I'll finish it in at least a month from then, haha.As always, mech. pencil (HB) and 2H. I had a bit of trouble with Luna...Over the past year or so, my shading's gotten lighter and lighter. I used to be pretty kickass at drawing dark shades, but I'm not so used to it anymore. So, she was a bit of a struggle for me.
Oh, and anypony that says the horns look like a certain something that is not a horn, is going straight to the glue factory. On the moon.

I'm so jealous of your drawings! You make them so bright. Do you brighten the drawing with a program or is it because of the scanner? I don't have a scanner so i just take pictures but they always turn out dark

Do you use a stomper? (those pencils made of paper) to help on the shading? If not, you totally should, they're a BIG help on shading matters

I used to use them a lot actually, but I stopped because I feel like you can control the shades more by just shading in pencil strokes rather than smudging and blending, although it is harder/takes more time
