I don't know, O. I've never read it. Every time I go to the big Asda down the A55 I flick through both books (2000ad & DRED Mag) but I've never actually bought one. Because I live in the back of beyond I didn't even see my first comic book until I my parents stopped off at Hilton Park services on our way to Cornwall one year. Must have been six or seven at the time and I saw these The Real Ghostbusters comics...
Heaven.
Bought a stack and grabbed some when ever I could after that. But even then, they were Topps reprints. We had the Beano and Dandy in our local but they were old fashioned to kids who loved Monster In My Pockets and Action Figures, more easily available due to the Woolies in town.
God rest Woolworths and all who shopped in her!
Yeah. Home grown comics like DREDD... Couldn't get them anywhere around here. Still can't. How shit is that?
