I started this a while back for the Children's Illustrator Group

It's may take on Captain Hook and Peter Pan that I laid out fully in a huge sketchbook in university. This book was so epic in size I had clasp straps stitched to it just to be able to keep it closed.

These same character designs can be seen in these earlier images too >>> [link] <<<>>> [link] <<< I called the moon the 'croon moon' because at night he sings small children to sleep. Later on I developed him to look like Elvis.

I'm going to use this as a pretty big portfolio piece now to get into more classic illustration. It was done, as with all of my work, in pencil and then inked with fountain pens and ink/PITT pens on Bristol board with some Photoshop rubbed up it.

I may consider selling prints of this to donate the money to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital >>> [link] <<<. Or I may try and market it in another more constructive way to get capital together for them.

This has really got me thinking I want to do an illustration from Peter Pan In Scarlet, next.
