Description
READ LEFT COLUMN FIRST, THEN RIGHT COLUMN.That's it, this totally proves that I'm a masochist to the extreme.
If you think the last tutorial was long...pffft. IT IS NOTHING COMPARED TO THIS BEAST. This is at least double the size of the last one D:
I made a poll awhile back asking people what they'd like to see most in my next tutorial. Out of the options I gave, I got mostly inking, hair, background, coloring large areas, blending, and a whole lot of "EVERYTHING!".
You guys got your wish. I included EVERYTHING
This isn't ALL of the steps (I think I left out at least 1/3 of it), but these are probably the most useful stuff to put in a tutorial.
I hope this will be helpful and that you guys can get something out of this! (If not, I would be terrible sad). I tried not to repeat myself from the last tutorial and go over new things. So yeah, let me know if it helps. I will be very happy :B
Have fun!
Photoshop CS3.
12 hours.
...yeah, I'm gonna go sleep for the next 24 hours now, kthxbai

Great tutorial!
I saw your other tutorial aroud christmas, and came to your gallery unknowingly after seeing your front page deviation!
Small world, huh?
The inking fast was a great tip for me, I'm horrible and slow..
How long did it take you to accumulate all those copics?
Just wondering.

omg, i think these tutorials just saved my life
can i just ask, whats the difference between the square copic markers and the oval ones?
i have the square ones and i was just curious to know n_n
(i have such complicated vocabulary )

The oval ones are called Copic sketch, and they are basically the same as the square Originals except that they have a brush tip instead of the pointed tip. The brush tip is very useful for blending, which is why I prefer sketch markers

I must ask...my copic markers, the slim end, it leaks everywhere. Why is this? It is more like a paintbrush than a pen, which is strange. They are new, so should I wear them in? If you see this, please respond. If not, I can probably figure out why eventually.

Very nice tutorial.
My only question is...HOW IN THE HELL DO COLOR SO SMOOTHLY!?
Ugh, I use copics too but I tend to leave a lot of streak marks when I color. But yours hardly have any.
WHAT SORT OF MAGIC IS THIS!? >:[ Or is it just practice?
π: 0 β©: 1
cartoongirl7 In reply to Rui-1412 [2009-02-23 19:02:48 +0000 UTC]
It's called the magic of colorless blender :'D
But it's true that practice is needed too. My colors were streaky at first as well, but I got the hang of it after awhile :>

I'm kidding.
Anyway, this is amazing! It's very detailed! You are very talented. Thank for sharing your ways (I hope you don't have seven million people now copying how you do things word for word.) c:
