But i love thrushy bae he was so sweet. though i don't blame Bluefur for not completely loving him back (i mean the guy was a warrior before she was born), i love his character and how he, although his feelings werent returned, was willing to do whatever it takes to make her happy. And yes, Ashfur and Thrushpelt need to go have a men's night out or something cus Ashfur was just about the opposite of Thrushbae

It's not the greatest, but definitely a lot better than Mapleshade's Vengeance. For a Warriors book, it's okay. I liked it after reading it a second time. There's some rushed parts but overall it's decent.
I'm ashamed that MV is so rushed though. It's exactly as it's been said in Crookedstar's Promise. Yes, it had a few dark moments, but I wish they didn't make Mapleshade look like a victim, you know? You shouldn't do that with villains. They even went as far as trying to make us pity her when Mapleshade said she's suffered more than anyone.
Erm, honey, plenty of cats went through the same as you did and I don't see them whining about how much they've suffered.

hmm yeah;; the thing is, they way MV was written allowed a lot of readers feel like Mapleshade had the right to kill all those cats (which is honestly sort of a messed up message)
she used to be so mysterious and cool and suddenly in MV she was so nice...and motherly and then all that shit went down and she suddenly took a turn for the worst? Like this "evil" attitude never even appeared until her kits died and she was banished? I don't know...I feel like there should've been more to her path to "evil"

Thrushpelt truly is the most sweetest tom in all of warriors history. He deserved a family of his own but he put his personal feelings aside for the she-cat he loved. Also the fact that he grieved for those kits as if they were his own when he thought they had been killed by a fox showed how much he really loved them.
