Ikr! The fan base can be so nerve-wrecking sometimes. She has tons of kits even though Sorreltail has tons of kits too! But let's kill off Fern! I loved Ferncloud (and Sorreltail too) and then Erin killed them both off

I used to REALLY hate Ferncloud when I was younger- I thought she was a waste of space and didn't contribute anything.
Now I feel that I relate more to the queens than the warriors in this series, and she is the pinnacle of queens- the queen of queens if you will (I'm sorry but it needed to be done).
I couldn't understand why she wanted to spend her life in the nursery as opposed to being a warrior and I think I honestly just pinned it as laziness. Now I realise the level of devotion that takes and it's a path that's really under appreciated in the series.
