ok, if you are just starting out, I would suggest taking some time to get to know the program and the tools in it by looking at tutorials or experimenting with things yourself. ;v;

Remember, if you're not drawing with a tablet, then the "pen pressure" function on SAI will not work. ;-;
uHH all i really have to suggest is to keep playing around with the program. you may not get the hang of it right away, but you will understand how to use it more and more over time. :>
