Description
Sometimes, even when we are alone, we need to hide from who we really are...For "The Beast Within" =abstractsilence contest. I took a more ... subdued approach to the whole thing. I did consider hinting at something bestial behind the mask, but I decided that the picture didn't really need it.

maybe you could give me some tips on how to make it look that real?.. im having real problems with that

Two basic things I always look at:
* Make sure that all layers of the image have the same brightness and saturation, so that nothing looks washed out. The edges need to be blended too, like the blades of grass "in front" of the skirt even though the layer is behind it.
* Lighting and shadows. This is the most important step of all; if you get it wrong it'll look strange. If there's a ray of light it needs to light up the bits facing it and cast shadows on the bits that are away. It seems logical but it's easier said than done...

Wonderful color and choice of detail. The lighting is wonderful and the change in the sky is so effective! At first I liked this, but when I full viewed I went, "OOOohhh..." in wonderment. Beautiful soft textures and intriguing all around. Well done!

So much to look at in this work...very nice. I love the little details...the butterfly, how the background changes behind the tree...the light on her gorgeous dress. Fantastic, once again!
