Description
As requested by hostile-elf I made a simple grass tutorial!I personally eyed this from MatrixPotato a long time ago, I believe, lel
I would not recommend you use this technique for entire fields, at least I couldn't do it, but knock yourself out I guess, lol
I do this when drawing small patched of grass for characters to stand on, mostly.
I personally use Photoshop CS3. If your program doesn't support the smudge function, I'm sorry ;^; This is not a tutorial for you...

last time I drew grass I did this but with a smaller brush, making smaller strands of grass while also managing to drive myself insane.
this looks so much easier, thank you ! :,>

This is really cool! The best thing.... It actually seems simple and not confusing/overcomplicated!! (Seen some tutorials that say simple but at the end I'm like "wut?")
I shall try it out next time I need some grass! Thank you

without cs3 you can just pick the colour and do a stroke like in the tutorial. i do it that way ;D
