Yes, I made a new tutorial! This time it's about how scanners work and how I edit drawings in Photoshop.I know I said I wouldn't make any more tutorials, but I got soooooooooo many questions about this, and it's something I won't be putting in my artbook anyway, so I've been working on this all day long.
And now I'm tired...

thaaats your secret! I was imagining how dark your drawings were to scan them and still be that dark, now i don't have to make my drawings super dark anymore, but your drawings are still awesome though!!!

lol yeah! scanners make black areas look so ugly. I think using a black brush is the best sollution to fix it

Wow, looks fantastic!!! This was such a good idea... I have lots of problems with my scanner and my pictures always come out too light so I always have to spend alot of time darkening and cleaning up the pictures. Very helpful info!

yes I always edit them until they look like the originals, though I must say the original drawings still do look a lot better.

Originals always will look better methinks. The fact its *original* after all.
Haha aye. Though I have a photoprinter which has a a scanner, photocopies and whatnot, and its 20x better then the scanner I used to use downstairs on our lexmark all in one printer.

i didnt understand in the first chapter if my scan is too dark what should i do?

you should try to scan the same image again, but with less contrasts
