I posted a deviation called Images & Words just because I wanted to know which of the 2 pair of lips I should use for my tutorial. Thanks to your votes Jensen is the winner. Go Jensen!


You may wonder why I'm posting a new tutorial because I obviously decided to quit posting these things. It happens that because of my study and commissions I don't have the time to publish an artbook. At least not in the near future.


And thanks to your AMAZING, FANTASTIC, WONDERFUL, LOVELY, INCREDIBLE, SWEET, FABULOUS feedback I always get on my deviations and journals, this is a huge thank you to everyone out there who helped me in times of need. <333333333333

Weet je,zonder die schaduw om de lippen, lijkt 't alsof-ie lippestift op heeft XD

maar dat terzijde...Ik vind het echt zo lief dat je weer een tutorial upload

Oh...toen de tandart dat bij mij mama deed, kon ze een paar dagen niet zo goed praten :S

Wat een goeie tutorial! Is zeker bruikbaar! En hoe gaat het met de wijsheidstanden? Vorig jaar in september zijn er bij mij 4 tegelijk getrokken, ik had wel niet echt pijn, alleen als je op mijn wangen duwde of als ik iets at( dat was verschrikkelijk, ik kon niets eten) en ik heb er toen een maand als een hamster met blauw-groene wangen uitgezien en de tweede maand was het kleur wel weg maar zaten mijn wangen nog steeds verschrikkelijk dikMja, al bij al viel het wel mee, moest 3 dagen niet naar school en twee weken geen turnen en zwemmen met school had ik er zeker wel voor over Hopelijk heb je niet teveel last van je kaken

nice tut sis. Geez my DA has gone dead... Im pretty sad but i been away cause coursework has been extremely heavy on me + My teacher entered me and my mate into a National Contest graphic design as a team which we have become finalistic which is cool but ive just had no time to do personal art. Not done any pencil works in so long... sigh...

Wow, I'm sure that you mentioned lips in one of your other tutorials... yet you still have more wisdom to impart! I love it that by just looking at this I've learned something new.

(p.s: having teeth removed doesn't hurt, at the worst the dentist just pulls so hard that you're lifted off the seat )

Good luck with the teeth! My big sister had to have all of hers taken out at once and had to go to an actual hospital rather than dental hospital for some reason. But from the moment she walked in, had the operation and walked out, it only took 14 minutes! And she was so glad cos she didn't feel a thing, and she doesn't have to have the teething pains anymore So hope all goes as well for you

Seriously, when I first attempted real-life lips...Ergh, it was sooo hard. I ended up just trying and hoping for the best, heh. You're way too good at this - it's good to get some handy hints from someone so good at what they do best.

i'm working on drawing lips right now for one of my commissions DX it's so hard... hopefully this'll help me a bit finishing it off, thanks cataclysm! XD you must have a really good scanner... the piece i'm doing atm has really light skin tones... i'll have to look at that other tutorial of yours.

Ouch. I'll probably need to get my wisdom teeth pulled in a few months..... Mine are already starting to come in! I'm way too young for my wisdoms to start showing up. Worst of all my dentist doesn't have a lot of experience and every time I've went to him he's messed up my teeth. -.- He's attempted to fix a hole in my tooth THREE times and he made it worse every time....

But good luck on getting your teeth pulled Hopefully the swelling isn't too bad.
