Description
Disclaimer: Contrary to popular belief, at no point in time has the Doctor drowned in a vat of candy floss. Which of course isn't to say that at some point in time that might not come up.*Fingers crossed*
In other news I nominate Tom Baker to replace Matt Smith when he leaves. I know, I know I also nominated him to replace Simm as the Master but honestly I don't see why he can't do both.
Now available in Technicolor thanks to the lovely =birchdryadgirl
Check it out.

When 7 innocently stepped out of the TARDIS, he was suddenly shot by some participants in a gang war. The wound wasn't enough to kill him, but it was enough for someone to call an ambulance for him. And of course, once 7 got to the hospital and the doctors tried to operate on him, his alien biology confused them so much that they screwed up the operation and he died on the slab. The worst part is actually that, since the doctors thought 7 was dead, they pumped him up with formaldehyde and anti-septics, which caused some problems as he regenerated into 8.

Ouch! That sounds like such an ironic death for a timeless hero!

What's even more ironic is that the woman primarily responsible for said botching of the surgery became the Doctor's next companion. Grace Holloway: the only Companion to successfully kill the Doctor.

not quite you could say that Rose and Wilfred Mott killed the doctor as well in a way. Not intentionally but still

Peri wasn't responsible for 5 dying, that was the poison, and the fact that the bat didn't have enough milk for 2 people.

true but if Peri hadn't been poisoned The fifth wouldn't have needed to give her the Β antidote although very loosely she is minimally responsible

Oh come on. By that logic, all the companions who were with the Doctor when he regenerated are responsible for his death. Just because you die to save someone, that doesn't make your death that person's fault. Grace Holloway, on the other hand, was the one mucking about in the Doctor's insides, and directly killed him (even if it was an accident). So actually, I take back that you ruined my joke, and stick by my original statement concerning Grace.

But Tom Baker was already the Doctor (sorry Tom ) Let someone else have a turn. These discussions are so silly like how there are still people who wish David Tennant would come back but even he still had a part as the Meta-Crisis Doctor if there was a story to come back to.

Pfft. That's no reason Tom Baker can't return to play the Doctor, the Master and his own companion. We'll even get him a tutu too. [link]
But in all seriousness this is hardly a discussion, this is a joke.

Instead, we should just have an episode in which every single character is replaced with Tom Baker. Imagine, 45 minutes of Tom Baker talking to himself ^^

Thanks. He sure won't it, it awkward.
He probably will be, Smith is the youngest yet (although not that much younger then Davison was) but the ages do go up and down in a wave. The big question is how old?

donobowk In reply to caycowa [2013-01-16 09:23:30 +0000 UTC]
I kinda want Pertwee old. My choice for doctor would be Bill Nighy but I don't think he'd do it. It'd be interesting to see if certain fans keep watching if the doctor isn't young and attractive.
He probably won't be that old though so maybe just middle aged.
