Disclaimer: Contrary to popular belief, at no point in time has the Doctor drowned in a vat of candy floss. Which of course isn't to say that at some point in time that might not come up.*Fingers crossed*
In other news I nominate Tom Baker to replace Matt Smith when he leaves. I know, I know I also nominated him to replace Simm as the Master but honestly I don't see why he can't do both.

The Doctor is commenting on how he died, not how he will die. Ten talking about Nines death, Nines talking about Eight, and so forth. Hence no First Doctor.
