I have a dilemma...

And suddenly

Man, it looks *really* angsty, that's true, but 1) it's "addressing" a bit different issure and 2) on second look it's rather...strange.... (For a while it looked like a perverse "Madonna with Child" thing, heh. Heheheheheh.) And don't you want that hairstuff??
Since I didn't realize until too late that it's a bit hard to infer (though logic tells us most people lack holes in their backs), the grey figure did indeed *tore out* the heart (and whose red-shining blood darkened to black in the scan).
Marker, ink, and colored pencil. (including the annoyingly metallic silver one I hadn't done anything with until now)

Such a beautiful piece. It has a wonderfull feeling of sorrow and failure to it. Not that you failed in any way with it, the figures are just awesome. I love the flow and the muscle tone. I adore the white figure, the hair and wings are lovely.

incredible job on this.. you've got a good idea going with the structure of the "people", if you can call them that.. good concept.. great drawing, except the only thing I have against it is the head and the back drop on the white one, it looks more 2D than the rest of it.

Thanks alot! Very glad you like it. I did plan the "backdrop" of the white figure to be flat, in case you were wondering. I figured if it was detailed shading wise it'd be too distracting. Or something *shrug*

I like this...it's kind of sensual feeling to it...but yet, full of hatred definetly angst....but bursting with emotion. I like this...a lot. That looks like an angel...more or less a spirit. this is very nice.

looks awesome man, I hardly comment on DD stuff cause usually it's some guy already has a bunch of attention and really doesn't deserve it, such talent for markers and colored pencils. I havn't had a new fav in a while so I suppose this will take the cake

wow! I love your technique. The entire over all concept is like..reaching for attention. Great shading and overall detail on this picture, your time was well spent indeed...This drawing is a great example of dedication skill and emotion put into a drawing. This is a definate favorite.
