Description
Recently came across a picture of Vampire Hunter D and Alucard (from Hellsing) duking it out, and was thus inspired. There’s always been people asking themselves which would win if they got into a fight, and while I don’t really answer the infernal question with this one page (and it will be only one page-- this isn’t going to continue) comic, well... it was really fun to draw.Pencil.
Note: This was drawn in 2005. I have improved since then, and could do much better now, but this was an accomplishment at the time. If you like Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D, you might find my gallery and my webcomic interesting, as I've been influenced heavily by both of those. Thanks for looking!

D certainly has his weaknesses, where Alucard seems to be rather OP. But then again, D is pretty much born to fight vampires... *shrug*
Really, D is supposedly Dracula (aka Alucard)'s son... so who knows. Might be a bit of a Luke/Anakin thing going on.

Truthfully I can't say. I say that this is a rather brilliant comic. The reader may pick whomever he choses to win. I say that the conflict would claim both men.

More Hellsing would be wonderful, I've just watched the first two episodes on YouTube. Alucard pwns all.

Haven't seen Hallsing yet, but trenchcoats and hats are totally awesome. That last cell of Alucard and the headshot of the Vampire Hunter D person are the best in my opinion.

Aw, man. I wish I could draw D that well. I always have issues with their hats. I love Alucard's expression in the top frame, and D's face in the one next to it. Poor D! Alucard would never back down from a fight.

A good question, but considering Alucard has that annoying ability to fully reginerate himself after being blown up... [how cockroach like XD] >>; I think it'd be a tie....

ok so D would never beable to fight alucard since he is thousands of years in the furture and as for alucard he's only in the year what? 1999 and D is in the year 12,000 so alucard is going to be pretty old if he lives up to see D.
as for the art: it's ok you should pratice more on drawing in genral rather then trying to copy the same art as the artist it's self. (if thats what you did)

I never said I was being literal in the setting. If you look around the internet, you'll find a lot of art that begs the question of which, if they did fight, would win? It's a hypothetical situation.
And thanks for taking the time to critique, but I didn't really copy anything except the gun panel, and then it's not like a traced. Even if I did, a lot of my introduction to being able to draw was trying to mimick artists and their drawings, and I believe it helped me get better, but that's not to say I don't draw "in general". This is a fairly old picture, I'm sure if you took the time to look you will see I've improved, and I don't draw fanart of anything all that much.
If your comment was meant to be a helpful critique, I would suggest to you to work on the tone you use when critiquing, because it really came across more as an insult.

well yes I was critiqueing and sorry for sounding so rude
now that I look at it more D in general looks good besides his arm in one panel.
alucard on the other hand could have seen better days and needs a bit more practice if you where to master drawing the character well.
for the comic: I don't know if you are into cartooning for comics but drawing a comic in pencil and shading is rare. the only one I know of that has done that is the new spawn comic about the gods and vikings.
as for the question. who would win? so far alucard has no real weakness and D has died in the book it's just that hand that makes him come back to life.
so if alucard where to dispose of the hand and shoot D in the heart to kill him.
then alucard would win. of course I'm just useing logic and I don't know why they would fight if there fighting for the the same cause. (rid the earth of evil)
and there is a way alucard can meet D. If Alucard where to live all the way to the year 12,000 then he can meet D. If Alucard dies by age like any human then he would have to travel into the furture. he can do this not by science fiction but by phisics. use a machine to create a warhole if you want to call it that and travel in time with out ageing. of course then he won't beable to go back in time to his rightful time period because of the grandfather paradox.

Whoa dude, talk about looking too much into things. I drew this because I got bored.
And believe me you, I see the things wrong in this picture. Like I said, it's old. I'd like to do it over again but I've got a lot of stuff going on and probably won't. I also don't draw these characters nearly enough to be extremely comfortable with them, especially not when I drew them.
Critiquing is great, but I always like to direct people to my recent works, not something that was submitted over a year ago.

so I'm guessing the idea of how you can make the battle of D and A possible in a fan point of view (I am not a true fan but in case a fan is interested this is my idea)

there are of course legal things thata people have to do to make the battle possible but I think it is possible AND I am not saying that it's agood idea I'm just saying that if a small cult of people want to have the movie made there must be a way to make it possible.
