Description So this was super fun to do! I've loved Jekyll and Hyde for a long time (since somewhere in high school), and recently re-discovered my absolute adoration for it.

This meme can be found here . I thoroughly enjoyed, though I feel I spent more time drawing myself than I did the characters of Jekyll and Hyde... oh well I will probably continue to upload fanart... or at least, that's the hope.

Can you tell I like Hyde? Can you tell I like drawing Hyde leering at women even MORE? THESE ARE THE SUBTLE ARTISTIC DECISIONS YOU MAY NOT PICK UP ON

Great art, I was laughing all the time I was looking at this x'D

Warlow for life! I don't think I can even bring myself to listen to other versions. Especially after the audible rape of David Hasselhoff's voice. XD Thank you, it was fun to draw! Glad you enjoyed

If you haven't listened to them, you should at least try Cuccioli, he's my fav x'D [link]
Oh god, Hasselhoff...

Ah, I have heard him before, in my insatiable thirst for everything Jekyll and Hyde. He's not bad, not at all-- but Warlow has such a range and way of expressing the words , he will forever be my favorite

David Hasslehoff

And sexhay Hyde!

The transformation panel is pure awesome.

(And I totally understand the magnetically attracting awesomeness thing.)

I just laugh thinking about David Hasselhoff. He's so ridiculous.

Hyde is so so sexy >.> though he's borderline creepy rapist. I don't much enjoy that part.

thank you dear!

Luvisia In reply to ccRask [2011-01-26 18:48:51 +0000 UTC]

You're right. If I met Hyde in real life, everytime I saw him I'd point and go, "STALKER!"

You're welcome!

s at David Hasselhoff realising that he is David Hasselhoff. He was the first Jekyll/Hyde I ever saw. I feel so un-Australian...they don't SELL that Anthony Warlow CD in shops around here. They just don't!

ccRask In reply to cheesecakem-consumo [2010-06-15 23:37:15 +0000 UTC]

oh man, bummer! I was really lucky, it seems, to find my copy-- but I would recommend checking Amazon or E-Bay for the '95 version, I hear they have it.

cheesecakem-consumo In reply to ccRask [2010-06-16 10:04:44 +0000 UTC]

Yes they do, but I've already bought four Anthony Warlow CDs online, giving it a rest before I go for another one. There was one time when all the J&H tracks were on YouTube...what a happy time that was.

Darn you! You know how long I've been looking for the Gothic Thriller Version of J+H at music stores? They're so hard to find...-_-

Still, awesome Hyde drawings. Love the musical too. And I would totally love your art class if you blasted Alive during class.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ccRask In reply to Kirbygal [2010-04-28 01:38:18 +0000 UTC]

I have, and will continue to blast Jekyll and Hyde during my art class. True life.

Also-- it's a shame they don't carry it anymore-- though I think CD stores are dwindling anyway. I'd check on Amazon, or maybe iTunes?? I dunno but I am extremely fortunate to have found it when I did.

Thanks for taking a look-- glad you enjoyed!

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Kirbygal In reply to ccRask [2010-04-28 02:17:05 +0000 UTC]

I checked itunes. Sadly not there. Only the not-as-good broadway version. I guess I can get it on amazon, but I'll have to rely on someone who already has an account. At least you were lucky enough to find it when you could.

...I would SOO join your art class if I could. I'd rock out to the music all day! ^_^

Shinkoryu14 [2010-03-25 23:50:29 +0000 UTC]

As far as classic stories go, my favorite would have to be "Tale of Two Cities" by Charles Dickens. That's probably the history nerd in me coming out. :3

This is great, I wish I magnetically attracted awesomeness. Most of what I find that's good I got pointed to by my mom. XD

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ccRask In reply to Shinkoryu14 [2010-03-25 23:54:27 +0000 UTC]

I never read that story in full, only part of it, and I remember not liking it. (that's about all I remember).

BUT THEN I like stuff like this and Crime and Punishment. So I guess it's touch and go with me. Actually I think I just like tormented, partly insane characters.

At least your mom has good taste

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Shinkoryu14 In reply to ccRask [2010-03-25 23:56:58 +0000 UTC]

Actually, she'd never read most of my stuff, but she knows MY tastes well enough to recognize when she's found something I'll like just by looking at the description on the back cover.

ToTC is a little slow at first, but once the plot picks up it's really good.

Ah, yeah-- my mom does that too. "Here, this has vampires/shapeshifters/werewolves, you might like it"
