Description
Recently came across a picture of Vampire Hunter D and Alucard (from Hellsing) duking it out, and was thus inspired. There’s always been people asking themselves which would win if they got into a fight, and while I don’t really answer the infernal question with this one page (and it will be only one page-- this isn’t going to continue) comic, well... it was really fun to draw.Pencil.
Note: This was drawn in 2005. I have improved since then, and could do much better now, but this was an accomplishment at the time. If you like Hellsing and Vampire Hunter D, you might find my gallery and my webcomic interesting, as I've been influenced heavily by both of those. Thanks for looking!

If the recent novels are any indication (D killing Cosmic beings, death, angels with no concept of dying, death, gods, and DEATH)

I read all the comments, and even if every one sais he will fail,(which to my displeasure is probably true) I vote for D's victory any day over Alucard. D is way cooler! But this is seriously awesome dude. Good jobs!

I'd rather you not add on to my work is all, I don't mind faves/comments and I'm honored you seem to look up to my work, but I like what I do as it stands. Of course, these characters in this piece (Alucard and Vampire Hunter D) are not mine so if you'd like to do your own comic featuring them, feel free.

D has no feelings. The man is stoic and emotionless. When he actually does crack a smile though, the Heart of the Universe skips a beat.
Great art. Oh and D's father is referred to as "The Sacred Ancestor". Been around since before Christ, and the VHD world starts in 12,900+AD.
And to answer the 'infernal question', D utterly destroys Alucard. :evil

Well, D would actually win. He IS about 12000 years old (assuming that alucard fathered him before 2000). I think that outweighs the whole 'dhampire' thing. Now, if you are talking actual time frames, IE D fighting al when he was in integra's service, then i don't see alucard NOT grinding D into a slimy pile of blankets. Now, D MIGHT have a chance if alucard fought him at maximum power restriction.

lol. Yeah, it's kind of a tricky question no matter how you look at it. Damphyrs are supposed to be the best at hunting and killing vampires, and D being the son of Dracula/Alucard kind of makes him a bamf. But of course, Alucard is... Alucard. So who knows XD just fun to speculate.

actually, Dhampires are supposed to be the best because there are pretty much no vampire vampire hunters (that was an intentional repeat). if you could get more vampire vampire hunters, then dhampires would become obsolete.

I dunno. I have all 4 volumes of the anime but I like the manga more... unfortunately only 8 volumes of the manga are out in the U.S. or at least close enough for me to buy.
But if you're talking about when he goes all 'whoosh I have long hair and a beard and look I got lots of undead minions and armies' then yes.

The power restriction restricts JUST power. more releases; more power. more power; more regeneration. do i need to to explain how that works for him.

i loooove them both, but i think alucard would win, simply because he's like, god in his show whereas d is actually rather weak in his movies. think about it, d can't regenerate nearly as quickly, and alucard can summon those dog-shadow things!
