i was actually going for the opposite - that Jesus takes away the burden of our sins and carries them with him to the cross. We can rejoice and be made new. But maybe I could have done a better job of making that clear.

Notice how all the "Christians", are leaving happy, joyful comments, whereas you're out here, with at least 4 posts on this page of comments alone, being pathetic and trying your hardest to bring people down and disgrace the name of religion. You call happiness, forgiveness, freedom, and joy "sick"? You truly are a pathetic soul. Also you want to talk about morals? Why do you think when people commit a sin, or crime, etc., they feel a heavy weight in their heart? It's their morals weighing down on them. They feel the need to confess and confide their issues into other people. That bible verse is doing exactly that. I see a bunch of happy, joyous people, complimenting this artists work, and here you are, being the only person, trying to insult them, and bring them down. But according to your science and logic, complimenting someone is morally indefensible, but insulting people over and over again, isn't? You should really reconsider your beliefs if that's how you think.

It's clear that Starfox is upset because of something. Maybe it's the fact that most people with common sense think that it's good idea to isolate someone who is danger to other people and society at large. It's not about vengeance but for the really simple reason that those very individuals wouldn't be committing the very same crimes for at least some period of time. Only religious people think that R4P15T5, M0L35T3R5 and other sickos should only apologise and that's the end of it. Never mind they are going to carry on with their crimes soon after. When Jesus said: "Let the children come to me" he didn't had mind that those children would have to come through unpunished perverts who would end up driving both those children and their parents away from him.
So who is actually insulting here? You try to depict Jesus like someone who didn't respect science and logic or who didn't have any morals. Or like he would have been a religious person when in fact the religious people were the ones who felt insulted and ended up killing him. Ironic how you fail to see parallels between pharisees then and many christians today.

All the religious, and hell, even non-religious, but just not dickhead people, are even complimenting this work for what it is. But for biased atheists that's too much for them to comprehend. I don't see any of the Christians shoving their religion down people's throats, but here are the atheists attempting to shit all over religion and shove their atheism down people's throats.

From there it seemed to me like you would contrast yourself not only to Starfox but also to Science and logic (which is actually really common practice by american evangelicals). Therefore you should elaborate on that sentence if you don't want to be misunderstood.
Whether you, me or Starfox are christians or anything else has nothing to do with anything. When I talk about "religious people" or "christians" then I don't mean every religious person or every christian. I know plenty of decent christians. But most religious people fail to notice the way they encourage ignorance, group-think/talk and other harmful behaviours. You also seem to follow the same pattern that "positive/ingroup" comments are accepted and "negative/critical" thought/ideas/comments are not. not only that but you seem to feel obligated to attack anyone who dares to think differently. That's why I assume you are religious + christian and you felt that your beliefs were under attack triggering such a response from you.
You complain that Starfox insults people yet you insult him and that supposedly be absolutely fine. I see double standards here. So while you behave exactly like him you somehow still believe that you as a christian is better or somehow your actions are excused but his aren't? How come? Is it because in the evening before you go to bed you apologise to Jesus therefore you are forgiven and since non-christians aren't apologising Jesus they don't get forgiven? (I'm not saying this is what you believe, I'm just trying to understand you - so please try to explain this with your own words if you think I have done injustice to you.)

Fun fact: Modern science can't disprove god. Some people believe in quantum physics and the multiverse. Some believe in god. Some believe in dark matter and others believe that gravity is not an actual power, but the effect of something yet to be discovered. What we believe is in the end our own decision, wouldn't you agree?
We assume of a lot of things that they are true till proven false. So, following your ideals: How about you prove first that god does not exist, instead of asking them to prove that it exists? I mean, Michio Kaku said himself that either God or the Multiverse exist. So, by proving one, we automatically disprove the other. That should make it increasingly easy for you.

Radiometric dating, archeology, history, genetics, logic everything we know shows the first 11 chapters of Genesis are impossible. If the story of Noah hadn't been in The Bible, Christians would find anyone who believed it insane. If The Three Little Pigs was in The Bible, Christians would believe it.
