Description
Taking a break from the jokes to say something serious about my faith. Maybe it will encourage someone. Funny stuff next time.EDIT: If you want a print of this cartoon you can now get one through my website. I also plan to make prints available directly through DeviantArt if I can figure out how. Until then, here’s the link to my store: cedricstudio.com/product/print…

What a great cartoon! I was expecting it to be funny, but it's really poignant. Great job, and congrats on the DD

No it isn't. Jesus never said that you have to ask for forgiveness, he forgave anyway without anyone asking.
For wearing dirty clothes anyway. I don't think he looked too favourably M0L35T1N9 children in his name.

I have no problem and Jesus has no problem but god is watching your every move now. So watch out.
Maybe 10 Hail Marys would get you back in good records with him?
Edit: OMFG, I wasn't expecting to get blocked for innocent joke like that. Talking about forgiveness ...
Holy f**k! I can't take that "God bless" & "My apologies" seriously at all. Hope not all religious people to be such hypocrites.

Anyone who disagrees with this site being hedonistic, I'll just point you to the "fan art".... so much inflation.

I absolutely agree with you. It's totally disgusting to see western christians harbouring reapeat- rapists and child molesters and calling it forgiveness. While people in less fortunate countries can't even say "Jesus" aloud without being beheaded or blown into pieces. I don't feel like doing justice calling both groups with the same name.
Even the most basic concepts that have been described with detail have been corrupted by these so called christians. For example "abstinence" when talked by Jesus or written by Paul (btw they didn't even use that word) meant being virgin before marriage which also meant that you can only marry once. They didn't say that you can't have sex with anyone else any longer - they simply didn't consider future partners "a marriage". They didn't consider teasing someone with promises of sex somehow holly or spiritual. But these lazy, gluttonous, fornicating, stupid western christians can justify any crime imaginable because "Jesus loves and forgives you". He would definitely be turning in his grave if he would still be in grave.

Have you ever been in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan? There is no such thing as "personal courage" if it isn't followed by public beheading.

Banning of prayer in schools. The enforcement of making pastors turn in their sermons. The ridicule for being a Christian. It’s not SUPER prevalent, at least not where I live, but I know it’s there. At any rate, I thank you again. It was super encouraging seeing such a post in the Daily Deviants

Phloris In reply to Creeva7 [2018-06-01 17:04:54 +0000 UTC]
Who is making pastors turn in their sermons, and to whom? Is prayer actually being banned? Is it penalised? Is any of this aimed at Christians specifically or at religion in general? I've never heard about any of this.

Creeva7 In reply to Phloris [2018-06-01 17:13:22 +0000 UTC]
In California. And to the government. Pray, and the Bible, is banned in public schools. And yeah, pretty much just Christianity, though they’d never openly admit it.

Phloris In reply to Creeva7 [2018-06-01 17:55:28 +0000 UTC]
But how can you ban prayer? What is the penalty for praying? That's what I don't understand.
So are people of other religions still praying in schools? (Are you still in school, by the way?) I could understand if they stopped making prayer mandatory in schools, I'd have a hard time believing they'd actually ban it. Isn't Christianity ingrained in your laws, your money even? You're saying that your government now secretly opposes Christianity?

Creeva7 In reply to Phloris [2018-06-01 18:22:50 +0000 UTC]
Indeed it is. Muslims are aloud to do their prayer. But unless it’s a STUDENT (specifically student) run program, you are not aloud to pray in school. Bring a Bible into a public school class, your sent to the principles and it’s taken away. The teacher mentions God, out side of a bible class or religion class, they can be finded. God’s not Dead 1 and 2 demonstrate all of this VERY well.

Phloris In reply to Creeva7 [2018-06-01 21:09:51 +0000 UTC]
So if your government secretly opposed Christianity, is that worse than them openly opposing Islam, or any other religion for that matter?
I understand why specifically Muslims would be allowed to pray, because it's a ritual on set times that takes a lot more working around than Christian prayer does. How would they stop a Christian from praying?
I haven't seen those films, but you realise that they are fiction, right?
Also, I'm not trying to aggravate you, but is English your first language? If so, would you learn it correctly?

It is my first language. But I’m writing this on mobile, so I apologize for any errors.
The God’s Not Dead movies are fictitious, but are all based on true events.
Why they want to ban just Christianity, I couldn’t tell you. But they do. At any rate, I am no expert on the prejudice, nor did I wish to scare you. I recommend researching it if you wish to know more.
