A good depiction of the truth, brother. I think a nice extra touch could have been if the sinner also had had the cross on his back, and Jesus too that too along with the dirty rags.

Thanks. You're totally right - we are guilty and deserve the punishment but Jesus took it for us. Maybe I could have made that clear. I wonder, though, if had illustrated it that way - in the first panel it might have looked like he was just scared to die instead of genuinely sorry for his sins? Just a thought. But I totally agree with what you mean. Thanks again for the kind words.
