Finally finished, started drawing this many months ago but never really had the time or to just sit myself down and finish it so i worked on it whenever i found time and making just slow baby steps torwards completion Today was the last Step. Giving me a lot of oppotuniteis to save images of the different stages how i approached this image. In case anyone is intrested give me a heads up and I can make a gif or progression image showing and explaining the diffrent stages.In genereall i do not have much time for drawing currently. I am still studying, have a job I really like but need to learn a lot for and sadly the death of a family member. All this ans many little things along the way are keeping me from being as active as I'd like to be
Well, anyways
It hurts to say but due to the fact that reverse image search showed me that many of my images get reuploaded without credting or linking back to me on foreign wallpaper sites I'll upload this "only" in 3k x 1,5k which is sad since a lot of the details from the original 12k x 6k is being lost to the downsizing.
But yeah anyways my first approach of a scifi image. Hope you guys like it

This is a really great piece of work, the details, composition, and time spent really show. Your vision is apparent, drawing the audience into another world. It's evident that your artwork has a great impact on the audience as they are left looking at the details, being drawn into the center of the piece. The artwork has a great compositional balance and good depth, all elements point to the focal point in some radial balance. My only small issue is that the buildings seem so strange physics wise. I believe it would help your theme of a sci-fi world if the buildings were straight and perspective exact. This would give the viewers an impression that this world exists and is not just some dream. Though if you're going for more of a surreal aspect disregard what I've written and you've done a great great job.

This is amazing! The time spent on this really shows. I'm sorry to hear that people take this without credit, I would upload a lower quality image then upload another picture showing just details you wish to highlight. Art is therapeutic and I'm sorry for the troubles and loss in your life.

You know, it's just a really fantastic piece. You criticize yourself for the wonky buildings, but I think that just adds more style to the piece. As if the singularity at the end of the elevated road leading up to it is warping the fabric of space it. It is a side effect of the portal, and your heroine and her ultra strong Rhino-being like side kick are witnessing the final legs of what had to have been a daunting journey--one filled with challenges, ferocious creatures, bloodthirsty armies, natural disasters and other cataclysms requiring know-how and guile from which to escape.
And at the leg's end, after somehow talking themselves or surreptitiously breaking or sneaking into a lightly populated city, they see what is no doubt a duplicate portal of what brought them from their tranquil world to this one; one fraught with dangers.
The style is a kind of mixture of what you find in a really good illustrated children's book, and a table top fantasy art book. It's not too juvenile, but is simple and intricate enough for all to visually absorb, see, and understand. The colors are appropriately vibrant, again connotating a tale of adventure and heroism in the tradition of young adult adventure stories.
Part of the magic in this piece are the clouds. Even though our heroes are above the clouds, there is air to breathe, and all is lit around them. This part of the city is either forbidden, or simply left unattended, and our heroes are about to go home...or so we hope

Pleade of not think that i am not proud of my work, if i weren't i wouldn't upload it
But I aslo want to become a great artist and being harsh on yourself and your work is , i think, important to accomplish this goal. I already got a lot of great input on how to improve and that to look out the for the next time and once i find the time I hope to put them together in a new illustration.
But for now i will just do some studies when i find the time.

I can obviously not only produce images like this en masse, the next things i will do are painting practices and studies to improve on the problems zones i stumbled upon while drawing this so the next one will be even better
