Excuse me, but what font did you use for the quote box?

Great work, and I confess, I read most of the blurbs on the example skin. And it was pretty funny!

This is some crazy epic work. Love the futuristic look, and I'm really impressed with how well you got the blue and orange go together!
Hope she loves it!

Thank you! But it is good work, isn't it? I know I shouldn't like it so much myself because I made it, but I really think it's my best work so far.

Haha, no, you have every right to be proud of your work.
But now you have upped the bar for your watcher's standards. We're all expecting some super cool skins in the future, so you better deliver!

I do, too. When I was done, I thought, "Wow. This is not bad. Gotta up the ante in the future." Well, when you came out with your Fruity, you got caught in the same trap.

I couldn't have said it better. She tends to hide her light under a bushel, but she doesn't have me fooled for a second.
Also, thank you for saying "super awesome" and "stylish" about the skin. I'm happy you like it.

I am very glad that you like it so much. Can't wait to see it in action.
But you do understand the definition of "gift", yes? A gift is something you give to another person without expecting anything in return. I wanted to make this journal skin for you. Take it as a Random Act of Kindness, if you will. Some day maybe you'll want to bestow a RAoK upon me. But I would not want it to be forced by a gift I made to you. Because it's a gift and it's only purpose is to make you happy.

Which you have most certainly done <3 I don't really think my words can express how truly grateful I am to you
Nevertheless, when you least expect it, I shall pounce with a gift of my own!

Celvas In reply to TehAngelsCry [2013-11-02 12:08:33 +0000 UTC]
You don't need to say any more. And you don't even need to be grateful! As long as you're happy, that is enough.
... But I won't say no to that.
All that talk of gifts reminds me that I'm getting 27 in a month. And I won't even get any gifts. I'll be as old as my brother. And on February 18 next year I'll be one day older than he ever got. You know, I think I'll scratch my birthday for this year and stay 26 for a while longer...

Short version: Big family, barely know any of them (thank God). Mother doesn't make me gifts. Brother and I used to exchange gifts pre- or post-birthdays, but that's over now. And my fiance and I have the unspoken rule of never making gifts to each other on our respective birthdays because we like to make ourselves gifts without needing a day that tells us that we have to. That sounds more romantic than it is in reality.
Me: "[Game] is out! I want, give me!"
Him: "It's full prize. You sure you can't wait?"
Me: "Hell yeah. Let's just say it's an early birthday gift."
Him: "Your birthday is in ten months."
Me: "And also I stopped smoking, so we've got some money extra."
Him: "You stopped smoking six years ago."
Me: "... Tomato."
It is now. I guess there's not much sense in keeping it around. But thanks. I didn't really want any of the two thingies anymore.

Hahah, my fiance and I tried the same rule... but I just like buying him gifts too much Like we said that our anniversary this year we wouldn't buy each other anything as he recently bought both of us a new PC... but I still picked him up some beer and cake x) Not much... but something! I like to shower him a little too much
YOUR WISHLIST IS NOW EMPTY!? >:[

I like to shower everyone a little too much [in gifts]. I am generous with my friends and always happy to help them out however I can. When I was younger I found it hard to understand that some of my friends felt uncomfortable receiving gifts from me without having something to give in return. After all, I told you what I think "gift" means, and that's what I've always been thinking. It seems to be easier now that I'm approaching thirty. I help friends out when they need helping out, and vice versa. Same with gifts: I give a gift when I feel like it, and they do so when they feel like it. No pressure. Maybe it had something to with limited financial faculties as a teenager - spending money on friends meant more because the funds were very limited.
Yeah. I don't really hang stuff up in my room. There's no space. I like digital things more. I wish I could put commission wishes on my wishlist, though.

I'm in the same boat as you, to some degree. I love giving people gifts - especially at Christmas! Yet when I receive them, I never know how to act, how to express my gratitude (especially if it's something I don't really like). So I always try and buy the most individual gifts for people XD SO they're distracted opening their own and don't see me opening mine!
Well if there's anything digital you come across, you let me know

I am very adept at faking being happy about gifts. We didn't have a lot of money when I was a kid, sometimes to a degree that our mother had to cut down on food to be able to afford our home. Birthday and Christmas presents usually included stuff I needed for school: pencils, notebooks, a pencil case. Before and kind of sympathy can ensue: it was normal for me, so it wasn't exactly a difficult thing to deal with. Also, Karma totally made up for it. Since I don't celebrate my birthday and don't get any gifts, I am the one who chooses gifts for birthdays I am invited to. My fiance's best friend's girlfriend () is my favourite. She loves to decorate her home according to the season, so when her birthday comes up off to the DIY market I go.
Last time I bought her a set of adorable hand-made candles looking like flowers sitting on a bed of grass (for spring).
You are very sweet, you know that? I'll keep it in mind, because I very much appreciate the gesture. If you want to make me a gift I really want: Don't ever leave deviantART and keep in contact. It does sound like a truism, no? But if you think about it, it's a lot to ask.

Changing the house depending on the season... that sounds like it'd get expensive.. and you'd be stuck in a winter setting for a long time! XD
Like I could ever leave you, Cel

My ego wants to marry you. Says it hasn't gotten that much oil in weeks. I suppose it is glad to see you this active on dA again.
One of those days we gotta make a collab. I am positive it would be ultimate (and probably ultimately confusing, too. ).
