Description Alrighty! Here's Conni's profile for ! (Not too late.... )

    [1]

Name: Consilium (or "Conni", to very very close friends. He won't kill you or anything if you call him that, but he might grumble a little...)

Species: god (lowercase, one of many. Big God prefers "Grandad".)
Governs (aka, what he is the god of): Wisdom, Technology, Drugs/Poisons (ie: alcohol), Parents (or as Tempestas has noted- "Adopter in Chief" whatever that means)

    Age: ???

    Height: 4'9"* (or ~1.4 m in metric)

Three adjectives: Gentle, Blunt, and- checks notes "teeny-weenie".

*If a human were to visit the plane of existence that the gods live in (Tier 2) he would appear about twice that size. The higher the Tier, the bigger things are proportionally- and humans live in Tier 1. But for all intents and purposes- he is 4'9".

    [2]

    Expressions! Pretty self-explanatory I feel.

    [3]

Gods have a special type of blood called Ichor, which is high in magic. It's actually a color called beter, which humans can't see. But to us it just looks fuchsia.

    [4]

All of the gods have three animals that represent them, that they can turn into and communicate with. Consilium's are the leaf-nosed bat, fennec fox and the woodland tree shrew. In Tier 2, they can only turn into those animals fully, and it takes a conscious effort to stay in that form. In Tier 1, however; they are more powerful and can do something called "part-forming". With part-forming they can just turn one part of them into the animal part. So basically, he can give himself bat wings. (For any who are curious, Fortuna gets swan wings  .)

    [5]

Quick height comparison between Fortuna (6'2") and Conni. For scale.

Further explanation
boy am i totally abusing the new formatting toys sure don't miss typing out all those <>,<>><>///<><.,><>

Consilium is a bit atypical for a god of Wisdom. Instead of burying his face with books (he can never find the motivation to sit down and read) and filling his brain with knowledge, or exploring the world and observing life's mysteries; he just opts to give people advice. Like, very practical advice. As in "no, don't do that- that's fucking stupid and you'll get stabbed" kind of advice. He's Wise, and you should listen to him. He'll only yell when he knows it's the thing that will work, because most of the time he's very non-confrontational.

As the god of Drugs it takes a very long time for him to get drunk. Thankfully it doesn't interest him to no problems there. He can detect drugs of any sort from anywhere within a radius of himself in Tier 1. He made a lot of hippy friends in the 60s.

He loves tinkering and is specifically fascinated with very tiny pieces of machinery. From music boxes to very small motherboards. Consilium also likes video games and has, since he got his hands on a SNES built his own mega-console. It is compatible with all home consoles going as far back as the Magnavox Odyssey. But he didn't think there would be so many. Every time he just added a new cartridge slot. And another one. And then a disc drive, and then a new disc drive next to it. And, oh, the Gamecube discs are so small- and the XBox discs don't work with the PS2 compatible disc drive. The PS1 games work with the PS2- but that's too much work figuring what in Hel he did 20 years ago and try and remove it from the middle? He keeps adding them onto the side so the whole thing is really wide now. It made sense at the time but there are so many now. He should really get around to remaking the whole thing more efficiently. Maybe next console. It's too stressful to think about right now.

He's also the god of Parents, or god Protector of Children, or "Adopter in Chief" or whatever you want to call it. He has this nasty habit of adopting things and getting attached to things.. and it often overlaps with his Technology govern. He'll repair broken machinery and constantly reassure it that everything's okay, or he'll get really emotional about a broken down elevator. Not for the normal reasons. And his first child is a car.
Yes that's right, her name is Devan. She is in fact, alive. When he built her, he fueled her with liquid magic and she got a mind of her own. Devan is his first child and you will not convince him otherwise.
He has two other children (Subsidium on the right and Hospes on the left, pictured in the Guess Who

Mature Content

). They are effectively defective clones. It was a long night, he somehow got drunk and- look. He's pretty gay; besides they showed up too soon for them to be a result of pregnancy or anything. He doesn't know exactly how it happened- but Ichor is incredibly unstable and he woke up with a nasty cut on his head... gods never know sometimes when they'll accidentally produce a child. He loves them to death anyway.
There's also Beatrice. That's the cockatrice. She's family. Yes, just be careful she does have poisonous breath.

Further on the Guess Who, that top one is him making a Warp Circle. Is a magic circle that creates a Warp point that can connect to any other warp point the user has made. Ichor is magic, so gods use their own blood. Consilium is awfully squeamish so it takes him a while. This is the full magic circle:

That handsome lad in the back of the second picture is Tempestas. They're uh, friends. Friends.

And finally that worm at the bottom is nothing in particular. I just wanted to show that Consilium loves all babies, all shapes and sizes. On that note, he will not eat lamb, veal, or any other baby anything. Eggs don't count though.

That is all!
Any and all critiques are encouraged and appreciated!

p.s. I forgot to mention a very very very crucial detail about Consilium's character. He has an indeterminable Bostonish New-Yorky accent. Or rather, he sounds almost exactly like Nathan Lane. Specifically as Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls. In other words, every bit of dialogue of his it is imperative that in your head he sounds like Timon from the Lion King...

p.p.s Consilium is my main character, in case anyone was wondering

Nah, he's pretty okay with his height. He's actually afraid of heights (and stairs) so I don't really know if he'd want to be taller. The gods' heights range from 4'6" (Invigilon, god of Chaos and the Underworld) to 10'6" (Tumidus, goddess of the Sun and Mountains). Considering how tall the tallest are (about 5 are over 8 feet tall) and that he's not even the shortest- it puts a funny perspective on height for him. He only becomes acutely aware of it when around humans- since they're more likely to point it out.

He's actually a lot more insecure about his weight. Consilium is very heavy-built but because of his height he feels he should be lighter than he is. He's wise enough to keep eating- although he's tempted to not sometimes. Instead he tries to build up muscle in the hopes the exercise will "counteract" it. Sort of works. As long as he doesn't think about it too much he's fine.

He might jokingly be offended if someone calls him short, or give people a hard time for implying it. But it's very tongue-in-cheek. If someone called him fat, however, he might go home and cry about it.

Yeah, back in the early stages of the world, humans didn't exist. As the humans evolved suddenly God (or, Grandad as he insists to be called) wanted to pay attention and keep track of them. But then there were so many, he created the gods to govern different facets and also help keep track of the humans.

Now that's been thrown out the window completely, there are just way too many humans to do anything with. So the gods just do what they want, and Grandad messes with the gods if He's bored.

I completely agree! I like to differentiate Wisdom from Intelligence, that's why I made them two different people
